Separation Anxiety is a short piece that was
originally conceived and shot for a MEDIA
EXPRESSIONS class
in my MA program in Film and Video
Production/Screenwriting at Georgia State
University in the Department
of Communications. In that exercise, we had to
use 50% 'found footage', each clip under 30
seconds, and the entire piece shot in sequence
in a Sony PD-150. I liked the original piece but
the restrictions
from the exercise made it very rough so I sought
to redo it. The results are what plays above.
It is a 'shot for shot' remake of the original
with only the opening and closing credits
change.
As for the film in question, it just tells the
tale of one man's fear of amputation.
